Little Book of Verbs - Half Page Printable Worksheet Booklet

I created this Little Book of Verbs to accompany my verbs unit. It is a half-page booklet which is 17 pages long. I have used it in SO many ways – It was used during literacy rotations, as a fast finisher activity and during whole-class lessons. It was great and really helped to reinforce what we were learning about verbs.

♥ Picture Verbs – Write the matching verb underneath each picture.

♥ Color the Verbs – Color the verbs GREEN and the other words YELLOW.

♥ Noun or Verb? – Write the names of the nouns and verbs and then color the correct box.

♥ Animal Verbs – Write down an action verb for these animals.

♥ Sporty Verbs – Write down as many verbs as you can to do with sports.

♥ Verbs at Home – Write down all of the things you can do at home.

♥ Verbs at School – Write down all of the things you can do at school.

♥ What Can You Do? – List the different things you can do at these places.

♥ Draw the Verbs – Read the sentence, circle the verb, draw it.

♥ Find the Verbs – Circle the verbs in the sentences.

♥ Find the Verbs – Circle the verbs in the sentences.

♥ Verb Sentences – Fill in the blank spaces with the verbs from the word bank.

♥ Similar Verbs – Match the similar verbs.

♥ Opposite Verbs – Match the opposite verbs.

♥ Past, Present & Future – Write the past, present and future tense of the verbs.
