How Does It Work?
This Martin Luther King Jr. virtual field trip comes with a K-2 version and a 3-5 version, which you can open in Powerpoint or in Google Slides. This virtual field trip is intended as a whole-class activity. Just open the slide presentation and play it for your class on your SmartBoard, projector, or classroom TV. There are slide prompts so you know when to stop and type, when to have students respond, and when to click on a video.
Here is a short video explaining how to use my virtual field trips.
*Reminder: The life of Martin Luther King Jr. contains sensitive subject matter, such as racism, segregation, and protests. I carefully selected materials that I feel are age appropriate, but please preview the videos before showing to your students.
