How is Balloon Math DIFFERENT that other Math Fact Fluency Programs?
Kids learn best through PLAY! I have scaffolded games and activities to help you differentiate! Students will be motivated to pass off each set with all of the incentives that are included in the program like balloons, certificates, passing posters & more!
* Start by explicitly teaching the set of math facts using the teaching poster, then use the pictoral clip cards to give students a visual aid using ten frames and cute clipart.
* Kids can practice together by playing board games and card games! They can quiz each other using the flash cards too.
* Each student has a variety of worksheet options to practice solving equations. I like to put mine in dry erase sheets so they can practice again and again!
* Get parents involved by sending a passing certificate home with the home-note for the next set of math facts! You can even send home a copy of the flash cards and board game as well!
* Students will be so excited to color their balloons as they pass each set of facts and write their name on the class passing posters! (See Bonus Preview)
* You can stay organized with math bin labels and an editable tracker as students pass off each set of facts.
* Kids are getting way too much screen time and not having the chance to interact and play with each other while building foundational social skills.
