What educators are saying

We are loving this Morphology bundle. I wish my students would begin learning about morphology a lot earlier, but thanks to this resource you are helping to make it easier on me by saving me time teaching it now!
This has been a very big help in getting my students used to affixes and serves as a great refresher for those that are already comfortable with the material.

    Description

This Morphology Bundle includes a range of resources that will help your students learn about and explore words! They will become skilled at identifying and knowing the meanings of prefixes, suffixes, and word bases.

There are 4 resources included in this bundle + a bonus file:

    1. Prefix, Suffix & Bases Posters - Affix & Morphology Visuals for Making Words

This poster resource includes posters about 65 prefixes, suffixes, and word bases they need to know. They’ll be able to take a closer look at each morpheme with explanations of what it means and how it works.

    2. Prefix, Suffix and Bases Worksheets to help Spelling, Vocab & Comprehension

This worksheet resource offers 21 worksheets to further reinforce the meanings of the 21 word roots included in the other two resources in this bundle.

    3. Morphology Reading Passages with Prefixes, Suffixes and Word Bases

This resource contains 65 reading passages that will use the same prefixes, suffixes and roots from the poster resource and worksheet resource. Each reading passage incorporates multiple different words containing the focus morpheme of that passage, Students underline each word that has the morpheme in it and and write the meanings of two of them at the bottom of the page.

    4. Morphology Posters - 65 Prefix, Suffix & Bases Posters for Display - Affixes

This resource includes the same 64 prefixes, suffixes and word bases as the reading passages and the other poster resource. The posters in this resource are larger and more colourful than the other resource.

    Bonus File

This file includes editable versions of the two poster formats. This is so you can create posters for any affixes that are not already included.
