Description
Brighten up your classroom /add a little pizazz to your Black History month celebration with a word wall representing the languages of Africa. Whether you use these during Black History month to show from where the diaspora began or to stimulate your students’ curiosity about Africa in your social studies course, this is a great start to your students’ exploration.
Each mini poster has a word (Thank you, You’re welcome, Hello, Goodbye, Welcome) in the language indicated. Each poster is surrounded by the flags of the nations where the language is spoken. You can use the posters just as decoration or you can use them to challenge your students to find out more about those places and/or compare and contrast the great diversity of Africa. Have them figure out the flags and/or research more about the particular languages.
