USE THIS RESOURCE:
2 Versions! 1 with instruments and 1 with Body Percussion.
Having the 2 versions will give you sooooo many ways to use this resource in all of your classes K-6.
Adaptation ideas are included in the teaching directions.
You may choose to use the body percussion first and then teach students the instrument parts. Or, you can use each resource as a stand a lone set of lessons. Another idea is to use the body percussion for grades K-2 and the instrument version for 3-6.
The basic teaching format is for students to first experience the music rhythmically then apply pitch either through solfege or treble clef notes.
The lessons include general ideas and steps for teaching. Because the resource can be use with various grade levels, it is not an all-inclusive lesson plan for each grade. Use the resource lesson plans and adapt them for your students needs. Use the I Can statements per the goals for each grade.
Please note that this resource can be used with grades K-6. Adaptation ideas are included in the TEACHING IDEAS pages. You will also find 2 arrangements, 1 Orff and 1 Body Percussion.
