Looking for ways to teach music without any instruments? Then this task is for you!
For this music assignment, student will be using ASL/signing to perform a song of their choice. Their job is to choose a song they like, and learn how to SIGN the lyrics to that song. The final product will be a VIDEO or LIVE performance of their song.
My grade 7 and 8 students had such a great time with this activity. They were excited to learn basic signs together as a class, and loved the challenge of learning how to sign and perform a popular song of their choice. This was a perfect task for Distance Learning!
