What educators are saying

This was a great extension activity for my first graders who have been learning about national monuments in Benchmark Unit 7. Thank you!
I left this for a substitute teacher to use for a couple of days. She said the power point was easy to use and engaging for the students! They loved the mini book.

TEACHERS LIKE YOU SAID…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Day Before School says, "This is the best "VIRTUAL" field trip for students, ESPECIALLY during COVID times! I love the associated PowerPoint with amazing details and the link on each slide that takes you directly to the national monument on Google Maps! My students LOVED learning about this and it was fun to do this on the day of the inauguration (and tie some of the monuments to the president and where he lives and works). The activities are also phenomenal. I especially love the mini travel book! This is a great resource at an amazing price! This also covers the first-grade standard to learn about national monuments and symbols!"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Joyce M. says, "We used this in summer school to go along with our unit about National Parks. My students loved it and were completely engaged. When they finished one of the parks, they were very motivated to move on to the next one. By the end, they knew a lot about National Parks and were excited to visit some."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jennifer S. says, "A huge section of the first-grade social studies curriculum has to deal with National Monuments. I was teaching this and using the powerpoint to travel across the nation when I had a pop-in observation with my principal. The students were engaged and learning through our virtual tours. The google maps and the corresponding forms are perfect for first grade. Thank you."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Catherine B. says, "This was perfect for our study of monuments and very easy for me to implement. Thanks for a great resource!"
