This bundle includes everything you need to teach about the human nervous system, most specifically the nerve cell! Begin with a lesson on the structure and function of the nerve cell and then reinforce the new content with a hands-on activity in which students will build their very own neuron model out of pipe cleaners! This activity can then be followed by a subsequent lesson on the different types of nerve cells, the parts of the brain, and nervous system disorders, if desired. Also included are 4 pages of worksheets on the nervous system (with answer keys), which pair side-by-side with my guided notes!
