What educators are saying

This is a great way to teach force diagrams. I used this PowerPoint to go over the step by step process and then we did some practice together as a class.
Loved how easy it was for students to follow along and get the basic idea of newtons first law of motion and free body diagrams through this powerpoint.

Description

This lesson teaches students about the forces that act on an object (normal, frictional, gravitational, and applied) and walks them through the steps on how to draw and analyze free body diagrams. There are 4 example problems included along with video and website links to deepen understanding. You will also receive a student note sheet and foldable. This lesson does not have examples where the forces are acting in different angles (not meant for higher levels of physics) but is a great overview for upper middle school or high school physical science.

Included in your purchase is:

- 19 slide powerpoint presentation

- Student notes page

- Student foldable (1 page printed back to back)
