**If your 4th and 5th grade students are not at least vaguely familiar with treble clef notes, you might want to give them the 2nd/3rd grade packet. You could also try K-5 Sub Plans Set 1, which has 4th and 5th grade students learning about Aaron Copland.
I used to NEVER take days off because it was such a pain to write sub plans for 6 or 7 grade levels! Even when I did write plans, there was no guarantee I would get a sub, so students would stay in their homerooms for music. Their teachers told me they did NOT want to play games with the kids, they just wanted something easy to give them.
Even though these can be done independently, you could certainly allow students to work together! Also, you know your students best. You can absolutely change which grade levels get which packets if you think something isn't a good fit.
I hope these sub plans allow you to take the time you need away from your classroom!
