Description

In this hands-on resource on Confucius, Confucianism, and Ancient China, students analyze 8 different quotes stated by Confucius that get to the core of his beliefs. These quotes form the basis of the philosophy named after him, Confucianism. Students interpret each of the 8 quotes, then translate them to understand "what Confucius meant" with his words!

Once finished, students create three of their own quotes that describe their values and opinions about life!

This resource includes a paper in-class version and a 1:1 Google compatible version to be used in conjunction with Google Classroom. This will allow students to type directly into the document!
