POP It Keyboard ⌨️ Station Activities and Task Cards for Typing Practice
- PDF
What educators are saying
Description
Students use a POP It keyboard (or any available keyboard) and the provided work mat and task cards as a station activity. There are 6 sets of task cards included so you can keep using this as students age. Prep once and use forever!
How it Works:
Print out as many wipe off work mats and card sets as you need and laminate them.
Students will draw a card from their pile. Using a dry-erase marker, first they will pop the word on their keyboard. Then they will color in the letters they used on the keyboard. Finally, they will write the word in the box. They wipe their mat clean and then choose a new card.
This activity can be differentiated for students with a variety of card sets to choose from.

- This would make a great activity to introduce the keyboard layout to kindergarten and first grade students.
- Print all 6 task cards sets and use them as stations around the classroom. Students can do it as many times as you have time for.
- Keep them available in your room for early finishers or days when you don't have access to devices.
