Parts of Speech Game

Have a blast with your students playing a rummy style game using nouns, verbs, adjectives, and pronouns.

The file prints them as business cards. I cut mine and glued them on cards to make them more durable.

How to play game:
Each student receives 7 cards. The player to the left of the dealer goes first. Each turn you have to pick and put down one card. When you have compiled 3 cards or at least one set of a noun, verb, adjective, or pronoun you can put your cards down. Each person has to have 2 sets down and whomever goes out first, wins!

I love this game because it allows me to assess my students as I am watching them play the game.
