Plants and Flowers: Information Text, Workbook, Experiments and Reader's Theater

This is a bundle of 4 products to engage primary students in the study of plants and flowers. It contains:

• An introductory E-book with simple text and large, realistic pictures. This 29-page non-fiction reader covers the parts of a seed, plant and flower, the purpose of each part, pollination and pollinators, plant reproduction and plants as food.
• A 20 page workbook to accompany the E-book and consolidate the students' learning from the book. The workbook contains an answer key and two versions of the worksheets, one with dotted lines and one with solid lines. A link to an interactive Google Slides version of the workbook, where the students can fill in the pages directly online, is also included.
• A Reader's Theater script on Plants which also contains recording sheets and procedures for 7 experiments looking at the needs of a plant.
• A Reader's Theater script on Flowers. Both scripts are written for primary students with parts for Emergent to Transitional readers.

The bonus file contains an evaluation rubric covering all the material covered in these 4 products. As well, there is a "Plant Diary" for a student to document the growth of a seed to a plant.
