What educators are saying

I have found this resource extremely helpful to incorporate into most of my session focusing on problem solving/functional life skills with high school & adult populations. They have been engaged with the prompts and enjoy problem solving real life problems.
My adult transition students have enjoyed this resource, but I do find that they benefit from supplementing with their own personal experiences as well!

Description

Help your students navigate through a variety of problematic scenarios that may be encountered in the workplace with the help of a graphic organizer! This resource includes 52 situations for problem-solving, with one 'What Would You Do?' set of 26 cards and one 'Should I or Shouldn't I?' set of 26 cards, that will help your students prepare for getting a job.

Also included is a graphic organizer, which allows students to:

  • state the problem
  • identify up to three possible solutions
  • weigh the pros and cons of each solution
  • choose the best way to solve the problem
  • determine what could be done in the future to prevent the problem from occurring

This resource was made with high school speech and language students in mind, but would also be great for special education, transition planning, and life skills students in upper middle and high school.
