What educators are saying

Excellent addition to my pumpkins unit! The kids loved tracking as we read about the life cycle of a pumpkin.
Was able to print and put in my make a book center. Then we reread the story as a class and circled the sight words. Thanks for sharing!

Description

This emergent reader little book will help young students practice early reading skills, while learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin!!

Throughout the book, students learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin. The following vocabulary words are included: seed, sprout, vine, flower, green pumpkin, grow, orange pumpkin, and pumpkin pie.

The book follows the pattern, "Look at the..." to support emerging readers.

This book includes the same text on both the top and bottom of each sheet of paper to make copying, sorting, stapling, and cutting easy to create a class set of little books!!

In addition to the emergent reader little book, there are also pocket chart cards to illustrate the vocabulary words from the book.
