Reader's Theater Play Scripts: Hans Christian Andersen Fairytales

This package includes four Reader's Theater scripts based on Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairytales:

- The Ice Maiden

Rudy, a goat-keeper, is tricked by the Ice Maiden into climbing a tall mountain in winter.

- The Little Mermaid

After the little mermaid rescues a prince from a ship wreck, she wants to become human. But a deal with a sea witch will not lead to a happy ending in Andersen's original fairytale.

- The Ugly Duckling

When the farmyard makes fun of the ugly duckling, he flies away to search for a place where he can truly belong.

- Thumbelina

Born in a flower, Thumbelina is taken by a mean, ugly toad and her son. But when her friends come to the rescue, Thumbelina goes on a journey to find other fairies just her size.
