Reading Choral Music

What educators are saying
Description
This product is a must have for anyone with a beginning chorus class. Sometimes the first time a student sees a choral score is on our class, and they have no idea what they're looking at! Help them have a better understanding of everything on the page by using the "Reading Choral Music" presentation in your class. The presentation covers the staff, the treble and bass clefs, systems, the four voice parts of choral music, measures, and bar lines. It also covers concepts like numbering measures and following your part through the music when you have your own staff or when you're sharing a staff with another voice part.
“Reading Choral Music” is a Google Slides presentation. Much of the text is editable. Feel free to edit the text and/or the animations as needed to make it more applicable to your classroom. When using this product, my recommendation is to print the presentation without the answers for students to take notes on. A link to the blank presentation is included in the presentation.
