Real Life Parenting Simulation

This simulation activity is designed to give students a small perspective of what it's like to care for a baby while also balancing other roles/responsibilities. Students partner up and work their way through a "task list" while they care for the RealCare electronic babies(Or similar electronic baby). Teacher Tips:

• This activity requires the use of the RealCare Electronic Babies or something similar. I typically set mine on the hardest level for the duration of the class period. Or I set it on a continuous demo to ensure it cries more frequently.
• Read the task lists in advance and plan according- you may want to add or eliminate some tasks based off of availability

• For the "practice water bill" and "check" I typically search for a template online. I have also utilized a personal water bill and used white out to cover personal information before making copies.
