Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Smart Board Lesson

In this lesson students are introduced to the 3 R's - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - to help save the Earth. In the lesson each concept is explained and examples are given. There are 2 sorting activities included where students will sort things that can be recycled and can not be recycled. Composting is also introduced and students can then sort things that can be composted and things that can be recycled. In the lesson there are also 4 links included. Two of these links are songs about the three R's. The other two links are videos of recycling centers going through the process of recycling materials. At the end of the lesson students will make a poster to persuade someone to do the things gone over in the lesson to help protect the Earth.
