Remembrance Day - Poppies for Peace - Art Lesson Plan Collective or Individual
- PDF
What educators are saying
Description
On November 11th, many countries recognize Remembrance Day.
I have often searched for THE project that my students could ‘remember’ having created in the memory of the people we have lost during the wars.
This collective work project gives an impressive result. The different techniques allow each student to add their own personal touch. Guaranteed success!
You would like to use this as an individual project? It is also possible. I included images and steps in this project for an individual version.
Since you do not usually evaluate a collective project, the evaluation rubric is available for those students and teachers who choose to create individual projects.
An “Art Appreciation” sheet is included to keep traces of understanding and appreciation of artwork.
