Let's face it: there are not a TON of resources out there on how to teach the writing portion of the STAAR test. However, after much combing through rubrics and example essays, I bring you the first part of my STAAR WRITING method; ART INTRODUCTIONS. With these slides, you can teach students how to write introductions with ease. This method can be used for both informational and argumentative writing.
