Description
Many schools are practicing school lockdown drills to prepare the students for intruders on campus. This can be a very scary experience for children, especially for children with autism. This social story was written to prepare students for what to do during such a drill. It is made using Boardmaker icons. This book was used in a general education Kindergarten class and proved to be very successful. Can be used with all students with special needs and general education programs up to second grade. This is a must have if your school is planning to implement lock down drills!
