What skills are practiced?

• SL.2.1.A - 2 activities - 20 total pages
  • Level 1 - 10 pages - Use discussion prompt to speak with partner. Rate self and partner after discussion.
  • Level 2 - 10 pages - Use discussion prompt to speak with partner. Use sentence helpers to provide feedback for partner.
• SL.2.1.B - 1 activity - 10 total pages
  • Use discussion prompt to have a conversation. Partner uses sentence helper to respond.
• SL.2.1.C - 2 activities - 12 total pages
  • Level 1 - 6 pages - Use discussion prompt to have a conversation. Partner uses sentence helper to respond.
  • Level 2 - 6 pages - Use discussion prompt to have a conversation. Partner uses question word to gain more details.
• SL.2.2 - 1 activity - 4 total pages
  • Read text and have students discuss with a partner the topic and details. Sentence helper provided.
• SL.2.3 - 1 activity - 6 total pages
  • Partners have discussion based on prompt. Listener uses question word to ask a clarifying question.
• SL.2.4 - 1 activity - 6 total pages
  • Speaker tells story based on prompt and reflects on speaking.
• SL.2.5 - 1 activity - 8 total pages
  • Draw visual based on prompt. Show and explain visual to partner.
• SL.2.6 - 2 activities - 24 total pages
  • Level 1 - 12 pages - Read two statements on each slide and move arrow to correct sentence.
  • Level 2 - 12 pages - Read incorrect statement and type it to make it complete and correct.
