September 11 Impacts - Gallery Walk and Writing Assignment (9/11) - This 19 page September 11 resource focuses on the the major impacts on the world resulting from the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The resource will help your students understand 7 different impacts from the September 11 attacks, including: the economy, the war in Afghanistan, the War on Terror, the loss of life, and more! The resource centers on teaching students about the different impacts of the September 11 attacks through a Gallery Walk Activity. In this activity there are several stations (displays) scattered throughout the classroom and students must visit all of the stations to gather information related to the impacts of the September 11 attacks. This resource includes the displays for all 7 topics (impacts of September 11) with colorful displays and images. As well, the resource includes a graphic organizer for students to use while they record the information from each station related to the impacts of the September 11 attacks on the world.

Finally, the resource includes a writing assignment with rubric that requires the students to discuss the ways in which the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 still impact and are relevant to us today.
