Description
Are you looking to implement class meetings in an easy, no prep, and no stress way? These class meetings are a wonderful way to strengthen social-emotional skills, build student character, and inspire classroom community. These classroom meetings are organized by weekly themes (listed below). Within each week, there is a slide with that theme's content for each day Monday through Friday. Every day has a prompt for students to respond to the content posed.
ALL 40 WEEKS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!!!!
Daily slides include the following forms of content:
- mini-lessons
- reflection questions
- thinking/writing prompts
- interactive sorts
- analyzing quotes
- analyzing images
- videos
- interactive activities
- character surveys
- AND SO MUCH MORE! (check the preview for examples)
These classroom meeting slides are all hosted on Google Slides.
You have a few options of how to present this material to students:
- Whole Class on Board: Project the slides on your board and hold an in-person meeting, sharing and collaborating together as a class.
- Whole Class Digitally: If students are 1:1 with devices in your classroom, assign slides to students through your preferred learning platform and students can type their responses, drag and drop moveable pieces, etc. Afterwards, you can gather together as a class to share responses.
- Virtually: Assign slides to students through your preferred learning platform and students can type their responses, drag and drop moveable pieces, etc. You can meet together through a video chat platform to discuss answers together as a class, present a mini-lesson, etc.
