Solving Two Step Equations: This 20 problem self-checking coloring activity allows students to practice solving two step equations. All solutions as integers (to minimize computational errors with fractions and decimals) allowing students to focus more on the algebraic concept of solving equations. This resource works well as independent practice, homework, extra credit or even as an assignment to leave for the substitute (includes answer key!)

Now, you may be asking yourself, "What on Earth are Granny Squares???"...Traditional granny squares are pieces of handmade crocheted squares made of yard and often used to create a colorful blanket. This coloring activity was designed with color and pattern schemes associated with Granny Squares which can be pieced together to create a collaborative wall display of algebraic art!
