This lesson plan bundle contains everything you need to practice and assess your students' comprehension of house and chores vocabulary! The download includes the following activities and assessments:

• A comprehensive vocabulary list containing house/chores vocabulary (students fill in definitions)
• 5 Practice worksheets that include the following:
  • Students choose the word that does not belong in the group, tell in what room of the house you would find the furniture/appliances or do the chores, and complete sentences pertaining to the house and chores with an appropriate word. Versions with and without a word bank included.
  • Using drawings to guide them, students state what chores everyone does. They also use an image of a house to answer questions about what people do and what furniture/appliances are in each room. Color and b&w versions included, as well as with and without a word bank for the activities.
  • Students decide whether sentences they read are logical or illogical and correct false statements. They also choose the best word to complete a series of sentences.
  • Students complete a crossword puzzle using house/chores vocabulary, and complete a word search.
  • Students draw a picture of their ideal bedrooms and answer a series of questions about their bedrooms. Then, students describe their ideal bedrooms to a partner, who will try to draw it from the verbal description. Students then compare drawings.
• An information gap/speaking activity
• A series of "preguntas personales" pertaining to the house and chores
• A project about students' ideal house
• A presentational speaking assessment
• An interpersonal speaking assessment
• A 25-point quiz and a 64-point test

Answer keys or rubrics are included for all activities! Some, but not all, activities are editable.
