What educators are saying

My students loved this engaging activity! I left the cup on the back desks! They couldn’t wait to come in school next day to see the changes! Thank you
Sometimes science experiments don't work the way you would like, but this one was amazing. Thank you!

Description

Try this great rainbow experiment in your classroom! This STEM activity is so AMAZING and easy to do. This color blending science activity is almost magical as water "walks" between cups of red, yellow, and blue to blend to form the secondary colors.

Students use science scientific method to make observations and predictions about what they see. The activity wraps up with a short reading explaining color mixing and students write or draw a conclusion to explain what happened.

This product allows for differentiation between different K-2 levels with various reading and writing abilities.

Want to do this experiment with upper elementary? Check out my 3-5 version that focuses on color mixing.

Want it for middle school? - check out my 6-8 Version .

Want all the grade levels? This activity is part of my Rainbow STEM Bundle . All 3 grade bands (K-8 options!) at an incredible price!
