Stay on Target with these Star Wars themed Fry Fluency Phrases!

It is important that students instantly recognize sight words and repeated practice is essential.

Instead of reading words in isolation which can lead to word-by-word reading in some children, these flash cards in this pack contain phrases and short sentences that will help your students with phrasing and their reading fluency.

Watch how your students become more confident, and become a more fluent reader as they master these phrases.

Included are 300 fry words in phrases. It is expected that children learn 100 high frequency words each year. So this entire pack should be mastered by the end of third grade. Great for differentiating and the wide abilities we have in our classrooms.

The phrases and short sentences are color coded and are bundled with a Star Wars character on the cover. The students can earn certificates if they master the phrases in the bundle fluently. A graph with a check off list is also included.

Included also is a list of each characters fluency phrases so students can take these home and practice them.

For best results print this pack on white card-stock. The card-stock should hold up nicely, laminating the cards would also be a nice idea but not necessary. For organizational purposes I bought hooks and attached the packs onto a binder and the other side of the binder contains the certificates and the check off lists.
