What educators are saying
This lab was a crack up. The students were highly engaged and really focused on making their straw whistles work. They sounded like a heard of ducks. While playing them they could feel the vibrations and were able to make the connections between the waves and the vibrations.
Description
This is a simple lab that you can do with just 2 easy supplies: plastic straws and scissors! Students will then add a variable to this classic lab and connect amount of matter to pitch. Students will then answer questions.
