What educators are saying

I was looking for a fun and engaging activity for my students to do as a way to review our communities unit. This was a perfect choice! Easy to use and love that it shows an example.
This was great to supplement my social studies curriculum that taught about the different kinds of communities.

Description

Elementary students are introduced to the three types of communities by friendly letters from pen-pals in each type of community! From there, students deepen their understanding of communities by studying their pen-pals letters, reviewing important vocabulary, completing extension printables, creating their own communities, and even writing their own pen-pal letters!
