Are you looking for digital or printable activities to support language, pragmatic language, and social emotional learning this summer? Students will learn to recognize facial expressions and read social situations as they answer the question, "How does he feel?" or "How does she feel". This deck includes 30 colorful photos of a variety of summer scenes (beach, park, pool, etc) and people experiencing a variety of emotions. You could also take it a step further and ask them to identify the problem and come up with solutions, "What could he do?" or "What could she say?". This activity would be appropriate for students who have autism spectrum disorders or students who attend social skills / pragmatic language groups. This resource could be used during distance learning, teletherapy, in person face to face speech therapy sessions, or even for practice at home!
What's Included?
* 30 printable task cards
* 60 Boom Cards with two levels of play: a multiple choice format that is self-checking as well as open-ended cards with the same pictures so students can come up with their own responses when they are ready (see video preview of Boom cards). The open ended Boom cards also have an optional space to provide a written response if you would like your older students to type their answers.

Boom cards are digital interactive cards that can be used on tablets, computers, laptops, interactive whiteboards and even phones!
