Description

Get your classes talking about The Hunger Games!

Nothing sparks discussion more than intriguing questions, posted eye-catching backgrounds! :)

With this resource, the odds of classroom engagement will "be ever in your favor"!

This product includes the following resources:

  • Whole novel set of discussion questions in pdf format
  • Three sets of Google Slides (fully editable) with the discussion questions broken into "Part One, Part Two, and Part Three" of the novel.
  • Terms of Use (which lists on restrictions regarding editing)

The questions are a mixture of basic reading comprehension (recall) and analysis style questions. Students will be asked to recall, analyze, and infer after every chapter! Also included are slides to review important vocabulary, grammar, and even Hunger Games terminology!

If you are not into whole class discussions after every chapter, rest assured that there are other ways to use this resource! I have suggestions for small group work, partner work, and even independent work. I sometimes even use the slides for journal entries to tackle some of those writing standards!

Last, but certainly not least, this resource was designed to make YOUR life easier! I have notes on most slides (in the speaker notes) to help guide you in class discussions to take the students to the next level with their answers or to lead them to the themes in the story. The slides are editable, incase you want to add, delete, or edit anything to suit your class needs. I know, from purchasing TPT resources myself, that I have bought awesome resources from fellow creators, but longed to alter them slightly to suit my needs...I want you to have that option. But best of all, everything you need is there and ready to go at the click of a button!

What are you waiting for?! Make you life easier, engage your classes, and elevate learning all with a few quick clicks! :)
