Description

Rock Cycle foldable & cut outs is a creative lesson that includes a foldable (to be used as notes) and the rock cycle steps that students must manipulate in correct order. These two items can easily be pasted or incorporated into interactive notebooks. This file includes:

1. A foldable for students to create that compares sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rock. The foldable can include definition, how it's formed, examples, or drawings.
*Definitions & examples provided!

2. The Rock Cycle cut-outs where students can draw pictures on them, cut them out, and arrange them into the rock cycle on their own. They can simply paste the rock cycle steps in their interactive science notebook, on a piece of colored paper, or a paper plate! Students will draw arrows in between the cut-outs.
*Correct rock cycle order provided!

3. A teacher guide with rock definitions, examples, and a diagram of the correct order of the rock cycle.
