What educators are saying

My 4 and 5 immersion kids love these! They can play independently. My grade 1 immersions needed a bit more scaffolding at the beginning but then could play independently at centres. These are a fantastic addition to my program!
My students love it. Very worth it to purchase the bundle since the game is such a hit. Thanks for an awesome activity!

    Description

Looking for a way to review unit vocabulary or to provide a fun fast-finisher game in your classroom? Based on the game Spot it, this 31-card game is a fun way to have your students practice their French vocabulary! Just print out the cards, cut and laminate them (or print them on heavier stock paper), and you are ready to play! This game is a HUGE hit in my classroom and it a great way for student to improve vocabulary recognition, speed, and accuracy!

This bundle includes the files for 6 of the different versions of Trouve-Le available in my store. Buy them individually below or buy them all together here and get one game free!

Teach more than one language? My games are also available in Spanish and any-language/ESL versions! Click here for a complete list of available Spanish games and here for my list of games that can be used in any language or ESL classrooms !!

    Rules:

This game can be played in groups of 2 to 6 students. There are two ways you can play this game (which are written on one of the extra game cards):

Version 1: Each player starts with 1 card. The remaining cards are in a draw pile in the center. A player flips over the top card from the draw pile. The first player to correctly find the match between his/her card and the flipped card and to yell it out in French, takes the card and places it on top of his/her pile. For the next round, they will use their new card.

Version 2: Players start with no cards and one large pile in the center. Two cards are flipped over from the pile. The first person to pick out the match and say it in French gets both cards. Two new cards are flipped over. Once all the cards are gone, the winner is the player with the most cards.

Merci !
