Description
This product includes 8 Thanksgiving themed word problems and a recording sheet. Simply print off the problems (I recommend putting them on colored paper so they are easy to find around the room) and hang them around the room. Give each student a clipboard and a recording sheet. Then, students find the pictures on the math problems that match the pictures on their recording sheet. I also put tools on tables around the room for kids to access (2 digit addition templates, cubes, base ten blocks, etc). The tools stay at the tables, but the kids are free to move around and talk to each other (about the math). My principal observed this activity and really liked it! And more importantly, the kids LOVE it!
