What educators are saying
This is a wonderful, well thought out, engaging unit. Unfortunately I missed out on teaching it because I tested positive for covid. I was so disappointed. But my sub did it and enjoyed it. Can't wait to do it myself next year!
We always learn about dinosaurs during the last two weeks of school. These activities made the learning even more fun. My students really enjoyed the cookie dig.
Description
This 185 page unit is filled with paleontology themed content.
Included are themed vocabulary words (paleontologist, prehistoric, dinosaur, fossil, mineral, earthquake, sedimentary, excavate, extinct, brush, pickaxe and goggles). You'll have access to various ways to respond to vocabulary.
I provided a lesson and center planner showing how I implemented the file in my classroom.
You will have access to all tutorials, videos, activities, centers and excavation site prep in this file.
