This Book Creator is an interactive and engaging resource that students can complete on iPads either individually or in pairs. It has been designed to be used as either an introduction to fractions or as a refresher lesson. For this reason, it would be best suited to year 4-7 students. I use it with my year 6 students and find that it successfully caters to a whole range of fraction confidence.
The resource covers: types of fractions, number line conventions, identifying numerators, and comparing fractions.
