What educators are saying

Great way to show students what the year holds. I used this to show what my students will work on during the school year.
Excellent and easy to use; my students benefitted from the update to my usual long-form syllabus. I won't go back!

Description

Looking for an eye-catching syllabus template?  This resource includes 5 editable syllabus templates that are perfect for both high school or middle school.  The visual layout of these templates is an engaging way to introduce students to your course curriculum!

Included with these Visual Syllabus Templates:

✏️  Five Editable Syllabus Templates - Microsoft PowerPoint® and Google Drive®

✏️  Example of Completed Syllabus Template

✏️ Teacher Instructions for using this resource

How to use these Visual Syllabus Templates:

This resource includes five different editable syllabus templates

  • "Color Pop"
  • "Vintage Floral"
  • "Light and Airy"
  • "Retro"
  • "Rustic"

↠ These templates are formatted to be edited in both Microsoft PowerPoint® and Google Slides®.  Simply follow the instructions within the resource to edit and export each format.

↠ This visual syllabus is formatted as a 2-page template.  It is 100% editable, meaning you can add, remove, or change each section to meet your individual needs.  This enables you to change the header of each category to a different title, edit the color scheme, and even duplicate or remove pages. Whether you are looking for a middle school syllabus template or a more in-depth course outline for high school, this visual syllabus is perfect for your needs!

↠ The first page of this syllabus includes pre-selected headers including:

  • "Meet the Teacher"
  • "Contact Information"
  • "Course Description"
  • "Grade Breakdown"
  • "Attendance Policies"
  • "Course Work Policies"
  • "School Policy / Land Acknowledgement"

↠ This second page of this syllabus is designed to include an outline of each unit in your course syllabus.  This section is especially applicable for a high school syllabus.  If you do not wish to outline each unit, simply delete the second slide.  If your course includes more than 6 units, you can duplicate the second slide and adjust the headers accordingly.

↠ For a middle school syllabus template: you may wish to add categories like “required class materials” or “important school dates.”  If you do not need to outline each unit in your syllabus you can omit the second page of these middle school syllabus templates.

↠ Use the Visual Syllabus Example to guide you through creating a simple and straightforward syllabus for your course.

This resource is also included in Mondays Made Easy's Back to School Bundle for Procedures and Routines. This bundle includes classroom management tools and community-building activities to establish daily routines, classroom expectations, and a growth mindset for the new school year.
