The WWII Map Activity Worksheet includes both the Europe and Pacific Theaters. This WWII Map Activity includes explicit instructions on how to complete the maps as well as questions based on the map along with knowledge based questions about WWII.
Students will label and color different aspects of WWII such as; cities, seas, major battles, shade areas for the Axis and Allies. This mapping activity includes 19 questions (10 on Europe Map & 9 on Pacific Map) that test's students' map and critical thinking skills. Please check out the preview for exactly what the students will have to complete.
This product also contains a blackline political maps of Europe & the Pacific at the start of WWII. I typically make the map a 11x17 making it easier for students to label.
This is a rigorous map project that makes the students learn about the location and events of WWII.
Note to Teachers: This product was designed to be used with Holt’s “World History: The Human Journey” Texas Edition Textbook. ISBN # 0-03-065648-6 but is in Word Doc to allow you the ability to adapt for your own resources. I have also included links to visuals if you do not have textual resources that you can pull and distribute to your students.
