Description
West Side Story has long been a favorite of music lovers everywhere. Based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, this musical is a staple in middle schools and high schools in America. This mega pack of West Side Story worksheets is ready for you to print, pass out and press play.
This product gives you a wide variety of worksheets, writing prompts and activities to use with your students. This set was designed for grades 5-8 but could easily work for other grade levels as well. Due to the content of the musical, I usually only use this with 5th grade and up. Check out the preview for a list of activities with suggested grade levels.
Most of the activities in this set require no musical knowledge, so you can confidently leave pages from this set for a substitute teacher.
PLEASE NOTE: The viewing guide was created to go along with the 1961 movie version of this musical. The one page viewing guide was designed to be used while watching the movie. Most of the other sheets could work after viewing other recordings or performances of West Side Story.
