Assigned Numbers to 30: In orange, green, white, and pink
30 Blank Squares: In orange, green, white, and pink
I wanted a quick way to informally assess my students and I wanted a place for my students to put their ticket out the door. It works great on a classroom door or even hung on the board. But make sure to hang the “What Stuck with you today?” poster somewhere in your room where your students can reach it. Students use a sticky note to respond to your lesson or to reflect on learning from the day. They write or draw their answer and then put it on their assigned class number square or on their name square. This gives me a quick and easy way to look over their answers. These posters help me to understand the students' thinking by looking at their responses.
Use the assigned number posters if you assign numbers to your students for classroom organization and management. Then the poster can be reused year after year.
Use the blank square posters if you'd rather write your students names onto each square.
Directions:
Pick the color or colors you would like to use to create your poster.
Print out the document. The document’s pages are11x8.5. you may choose to create a smaller poster.
Laminate each page of the poster. This will allow the poster to last year after year.
I cut the bottoms of a few pages to make the poster seem as if it was one long poster and not 6 separate pages, I trimmed the bottoms of pages 5,4,3, and 2. this takes away the white that may create a gab between the lines.
Glue the poster together. I used hot glue during this step. Make sure you line up the pages. The over lap from the top of each pages makes it easy for you to do this.
