LYRICS FOR “WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE?”
Chorus:
What will the weather be?
Ask the animals, don’t ask me
They can smell and feel and hear
Changes in the atmosphere
Watch how animals behave
The things they do give clues away
What will the weather be?
Ask the animals. What will the weather be?

Verse 1:
Cows will sense a storm comin’ on
They’ll stand together to be safe and warm
A shadow from a groundhog shows
There’s six more weeks of winter to go
When birds are flying high in the sky
The weather’s clear, the sun will shine
If butterflies are not in your flowers
Expect to see some heavy rain showers

REPEAT CHORUS

Verse 2:
The faster crickets chirp is a sign
That temperatures are on the rise
If ants are building up their mounds
There’s probably a storm around
Before a hurricane arrives
Sharks will flee their homes to survive
Dogs can smell lightning in the air
And sense thunder that’s barely there

REPEAT CHORUS

Bridge:
When rain is nigh, the trout jump high
Pigs gather sticks and cows swat flies
Frogs croak louder, dolphins swim to sheltered bays
Bees stay in hives, birds go to nests
Spiders leave their webs
Roosters will crow later in the day

REPEAT CHORUS
Don’t ask me. What will the weather be? What will the weather be?
What will the weather be? What will the weather be?
