I have over 25 years of teaching experience in both US public schools and international schools around the world. I have taught the IB curriculum for 15 years.
I love to encourage students to express their point of view, regardless of the topic that we are studying. I always find it important to ask questions that elicit this type of conversation in class, allowing for expression in the target language, debates, examples and personal anecdotes.
Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program
I am a child of a bilingual family (French/English) who has learned numerous other languages to an advanced level (Spanish and Dutch). I have a Master's degree in French Language, Literature and Culture, and a Master's degree in International Education.
I love learning languages and modeling life-long learning to my students. I have a strong interest in etymology. I have lived in several different countries, giving me the opportunity to learn languages and cultures from a unique perspective.
