TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Welcome to Teach2Tell! We are thrilled to have you here! Whether you're into print or digital resources, we've got you covered for Grades K-8 in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Throughout my teaching journey, I've had the joy of working with students across elementary, middle, and even high school levels. Each grade has its own special appeal, but I have to confess - I'm a primary school teacher at heart. The laughter and innocence of my elementary students brighten my school day, making it an absolute joy. Stick around, explore, and let's make learning fun together!

MY TEACHING STYLE

More than just my personal style, what really takes the cake for me is good old hard work and staying organized. But hey, let's talk about the fun stuff – hands-on activities! They're like the secret sauce that makes moving from abstract to concrete concepts super smooth. It's a total win in my book. I'm all about playing the role of a facilitator, making sure teaching and learning are all about the students. You know, less of me talking and more action in the classroom – that's the sweet spot for keeping the energy up in a lesson. And guess what? Being tuned in to what students need is the real magic trick for positive outcomes. It's like creating this awesome vibe where everyone's on board for understanding and success.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Having the privilege of being a Teacher. The inspiration for everything I design has been my fabulous students - without them, I could never be the teacher or curriculum designer I am.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelor of Education, Master of Arts in English Literature, Master of Education - Literacy Coach / Literacy Co-ordinator - Certificate of Proficiency in Information and System Management - Special Education Needs Certificate

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

So, I've jet-setted to some pretty exciting places and aced the art of staying calm, thanks to my previous gig as an Airline Flight Attendant! ✈️ On a lighter note, when the school week gets a bit crazy, I unwind by playing the piano. Oh, and I'm all about those long hikes and biking trails with my awesome family and friends. Plus, let me introduce you to my lively crew – there's Mercy, my 4:30 am running partner (a super active Dobie), and the cuddly bundles of joy, Bouncy and Missy Boy (my adorable cats). Life's a bustling adventure!
