Making groups of Tens and Ones is the beginnings of learning place value. In this SMARTBoard lesson students will practice circling groups of ten. They will then record how many tens and ones are on the page. Finally they will record the number of objects that are on the page.

Winter Graphing (SMARTBoard Lesson)
Winter Graphing works on the following Common Core Standard for First Grade:
Organize, represent, and interpret data with up to three categories; ask and answer questions about the total number of data points, how many in each category, and how many more or less are in one category than in another.
The students love going to the SMARTBoard to put their information on each graph.

Winter Sports Attendance for SMART Board
I like to call this, Super Attendance because each student gets a DIFFERENT icon. Other attendance trackers have the same pictures with different student names. Kids LOVE how their attendance picture is special to only them. All names are easily editable in Smart Notebook with instructions provided. Winter Snowflake Attendance for the SMARTBoard
This is a fun winter attendance file for the SMARTBoard. Students will move their snowflake if present or, touch it and have the snowflake fall. Directions are included on how to change the name for each snowflake and have it perform the falling action.
