This is a literature review packet I created for the book: "Duck for President" by Doreen Cronin. Very appropriate for an election year! I have included the common core standards that are addressed in this review at the beginning. There is a vocabulary section, a comprehension section, a sequencing section, and an application section. The questions I have included encourage higher order thinking and application. A key is also included.

Read the book one day, do one project, and you're done! This set includes the directions for making the duck or themselves as the candidate along with 6 different recording sheets. There is also an emergent reader called "Running For President" that the children write the missing words in and read on their own
