Watercolor and observational drawing project; students will use a KWL chart to think about what they know already on the subjects of gemstones and using watercolor before drawing from observation and from step by step guides. They will learn how to outline drawings with paint, and add high and low lights; great lesson for 6th to 8th grade but can be modified for K-5th or 7-12th.
