You're a Gem! (Gemstone/Crystals watercolor project)
Watercolor and observational drawing project; students will use a KWL chart to think about what they know already on the subjects of gemstones and using watercolor before drawing from observation and from step by step guides. They will learn how to outline drawings with paint, and add high and low lights; great lesson for 6th to 8th grade but can be modified for K-5th or 7-12th.

Legend, Myths, Fables Quiz and Activity
After teaching Myths, Fables, and Legends a quiz has been provided to identify if your students have the basic ideas of these types of readings.Once finished with the quiz another activity that is provided is the creation of the students own myth. The checklist will provide students with necessary information that needs to be included in their myth. However, you can edit and provide additional directions as well.
